WHAT DO HEALTHY PEOPLE DO?

Unhealthy People...

  • Skip meals (usually breakfast).
  • Sit in front of the computer, or on the couch and watch TV for hours.
  • Snack on junk food all day.
  • Always take the elevator and escalator.
  • Eat in front of the TV and all over the house.
  • Eat a large dinner late in the evening.
  • Drink soda-pop, juice and other sweetened drinks when thirsty.
  • Eat fast food three of four times per week.
  • Eat their food very fast

Healthy People...

  • Eat regularly scheduled meals and snacks.
  • Get up every 15 minutes and do a few minutes of moderate exercise.
  • Buy healthy snacks to have on hand and eat scheduled midmorning or afternoon snacks.
  • Always take the stairs or park at the end of the parking lot and walk.
  • Eat at the kitchen table only.
  • Eat small meals and snacks throughout the day that are about the same size.
  • Drink water when thirsty.
  • Eat fast food once every two weeks.
  • Slow down when eating and usually end up eating less
