WHAT DO HEALTHY PEOPLE DO?
Unhealthy People...
- Skip meals (usually breakfast).
- Sit in front of the computer, or on the couch and watch TV for hours.
- Snack on junk food all day.
- Always take the elevator and escalator.
- Eat in front of the TV and all over the house.
- Eat a large dinner late in the evening.
- Drink soda-pop, juice and other sweetened drinks when thirsty.
- Eat fast food three of four times per week.
- Eat their food very fast
Healthy People...
- Eat regularly scheduled meals and snacks.
- Get up every 15 minutes and do a few minutes of moderate exercise.
- Buy healthy snacks to have on hand and eat scheduled midmorning or afternoon snacks.
- Always take the stairs or park at the end of the parking lot and walk.
- Eat at the kitchen table only.
- Eat small meals and snacks throughout the day that are about the same size.
- Drink water when thirsty.
- Eat fast food once every two weeks.
- Slow down when eating and usually end up eating less
