The 7th Annual Northern Nevada Heart Conference, held this past Saturday in Reno Nevada, was another success—with more than 150 medical professionals in attendance.

The purpose of this important community event is to update local health care practitioners on the history as well as recent advances in the field of congenital cardiology. Conference participants explored a variety of cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and interventions occurring throughout a patient’s lifespan. The conference included a wide-range of topics presented by experts in the area of congenital heart disease.

Children’s Heart Center is an accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians (as well as nurses and other healthcare providers). This accreditation allows us to sponsor important learning events such as our Annual Heart Conference. Children’s Heart Center has been awarded “Accreditation with Commendation”—the ACCME’s highest level of recognition.

A Very Special Thank You to All of our Speakers: Katrinka T Kip, MD, Joseph M Ludwick, MD, Tina W Kwan, MD, Ricardo A Samson, MD, Christine Riley, RD, Abraham Rothman, MD, and Elizabeth E Adams, DO.

Providing education (CME) to our healthcare partners is just one of the ways we work to provide the very best medical care to children with heart disease.

Providing the very best care…
