Abstract

A dedicated fetal echocardiogram includes the 3-vessel view. We present a case of a fetus with a complex cardiac malformation in which the 3-vessel view showed an unexplained separation between the superior vena cava and the ascending aorta. Postnatal imaging helped explain the cause of the abnormal finding.
