Heart Conference—Icons & Innovators

This year’s 19th Annual Heart Conference was another huge success—with nearly 1,200 medical professionals in attendance!

The purpose of this important community event is to update local health care practitioners on the history as well as recent advances in the field of congenital cardiology. Conference participants explored a variety of cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and interventions occurring throughout a patient’s lifespan. The conference included a wide-range of topics presented by internationally renowned experts.

This year we were honored to welcome special guest speakers Aldo R Castañeda, MD, PhD and Jane Somerville, MD—both are highly respected icons and innovators in the field of congenital cardiology. Having these two esteemed experts together and speaking at the same conference was truly a special opportunity.

A very special thank you to all of our speakers: John A Alexander, DO, Karolina Balkenbush, RD, Sergio A Carrillo, MD, Aldo R Castañeda, MD, PhD (William E Ladd Professor of Child Surgery, Emeritus – Boston Children’s Hospital; Medical Director of the Aldo Castañeda Foundation), William J Castillo, MD, Michael L Ciccolo, MD, William N Evans, MD, Kevin Hughes, MD (Anesthesiology Consultants, Inc), Gary A Mayman, MD, Abraham Rothman, MD, Jane Somerville, MD (Professor of Pediatrics, Royal Brompton Hospital – London, England)

Providing education (CME) to our healthcare partners is just one of the ways we work to provide the very best medical care to children with heart disease.

Providing the very best care…
